Audenshaw School football have claimed their second Tameside Schools Cup in under a week!

Audenshaw School football claimed their second Tameside Schools Cup in under a week as the U14 team defeated St Damian's in the final on Monday evening. Mr Brooks' team, fresh from their appearance in the National Schools Final at Derby County last week had little trouble in overcoming their district opposition, earning a 4-1 victory to claim the title. Skipper, Jack Hinchey opened the scoring after nine minutes and Audenshaw extended their lead before the break through the impressive George Coalville who enjoyed a superb display. Further goals were added in the second half as Audenshaw pulled away to lead 4-0 with Coalville registering a second and Jakle Phelan too finding the back of the net for his efforts. St Damians's scored a late consolation goal to make it 4-1 at the final whistle as Audenshaw lifted yet another crown.
