On Wednesday 7th of December, our French specialist Language Leaders went to Manchester Road Primary school in Droylsden to meet the year 3 pupils they will be teaching in the New Year. The Language leaders talked to the pupils about the Language Leader Award and the importance of learning languages. We also brought in our FLA, Elizabeth who comes from Canada, to talk to pupils about Québec which is a francophone region in the south of Canada. The pupils were very keen and ask many questions. We were then treated to a French breakfast including hot chocolate, croissants, pains au chocolat and brioches! C’était vraiment délicieux! We would like to thank Manchester Road Primary school teachers and pupils for making us feel so welcome, and in particular Mrs Frost for organising the event. Merci beaucoup!

The Language Leaders’ team would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas ¡Feliz navidad! Joyeux Noël
