We are delighted to share with you some amazing news.

Former Head Boy, Ellis Robson, who attended Audenshaw School and our Sixth Form from 2010-17, will make his professional rugby debut on this evening for Warrington Wolves at home against Hull FC. Ellis is the latest of our students to make his professional debut for Warrington, following in the footsteps of Gene Ormsby and Jack Johnson.

Ellis has been at the club since the age of 14, so this is a huge moment for him, fulfilling a life long dream that he was unsure would happen as he recently signed for Ottawa Aces to continue his professional career from November, with the newly formed club entering the English professional Rugby League system. Ellis will be based in Canada for half of each season and the other half over here in England.

Ellis was a popular student, a respectful and hard-working "Audy Boy" who definitely became an exceptional young man. We are sure you will join everyone at Audenshaw School in being very proud of him.

If you would like to watch Ellis debut, it will be on Sky Sports this evening at 8.15 pm.

Good luck Ellis.
