Students saw a wide range of fascinating birds such as a Pygmy Falcon, Kookaburra and several owl species which some lucky students even got to hold!
The students listened to how these birds are adapted for surviving in their natural environment from the foods they eat, where and when they hunt to the features of their feathers.
The workshop will benefit our Year 8’s greatly as they study the Ecosystems unit in Science and learn about other animal adaptations.
