We visited Findel in Hyde to give a selected group of our Year 9 students some experience of what it is like in an actual place of work. They had a tour of the whole company and then took turns working alongside the staff, answering callings from customers, receiving and responding to email enquiries, seeing how the marketing department worked and viewing the digital media department, seeing how they create and design advertising campaigns and websites.

After this, they then took part in a team building exercise and their natural competitiveness kicked in as they tried to beat each other before realising that if they worked together as one large team they could achieve much more.

The students really enjoyed their tour of the Findel’s offices and said the staff were really friendly and helpful.
